Our mission is to work as an extension of your practice to provide your patients with excellent veterinary care 24 hours as day, 365 days a year. We realize that you have worked hard to build a close relationship with your clients and we want to work closely with you to allow you to maintain control of what happens with your patients. We explain to your clients the importance of your knowledge of their pet’s condition over the lifetime of the pet. Therefore, we ask that any follow up care that the patient requires after being discharged from our clinic be completed at your facility. We also want you to be in control of whether referral to a specialist is offered to the client. We realize that some general practitioners have special interests and may be in a position to offer advanced diagnostics or treatments, or the ability to perform complicated surgeries that may not be available at most general practices. We either contact you directly to discuss the case, or ask the owner to transfer the pet to you for further evaluation. Once you have evaluated the pet, you can decide whether referral is necessary and if so, to which specialist.
