Susie Kessinger
Animal Health Technician
Hospital Manager
Susie is a life-long animal lover and advocate. In 1978 she graduated
from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural Collage (ABAC) with an Associate in Animal Health Degree.
In March 1980, she began her career in
veterinary emergency and critical care as a veterinary technician. During this time she also worked with specialty practices
in veterinary ophthalmology and surgery.
In 1984, Susie was asked to join the management team at another emergency and critical care
facility. She eventually became Hospital Administrator. In 2002, Susie happily joined the team at Animal Emergency Center
of North Fulton as Hospital Manager.
Susie lives with her husband, three dogs and four horses on a small farm in the North Georgia
Mountains.
Allison Hamburger
Registered Veterinary Technician
Allison has been a full-time technician at Animal Emergency Center of
North Fulton for over five years. Prior to joining Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton, she worked at a variety of Day Practices’
as well as other emergency hospitals.
A vital part of the staff, Allison is responsible for hourly treatments, lab work, taking radiographs,
medication administrations, and monitor patient vitals. In case of surgical patients, Allison will frequently induce anesthesia,
monitor anesthesia and vitals, and provide any surgical assistance the doctor may require. Allison prides herself on excellent
patient care and client communications.
Allison has nine years as a veterinary technician; she received her certification in 2009,
and is a member in good standing with the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care society.
Allison lives with her husband and the four
pawed children, D.D a cattle dog, Momo and Appa maltipoo brothers, and their two ferrets Pippen and Talen.
Lisa, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
Lisa has always wanted to make a difference in someone’s life. Working in the
veterinary field for over ten years has provided many opportunities. Described as compassionate, dedicated and an animal advocate,
she definitely has a passion for medicine. Her interests include dentistry, geriatric care, home hospice, and strengthening the bond
between pets and their owners. Lisa sharpens her own skills by attending continuing education and seminars.
Having raised two sons
and now transitioning into an empty nester, the nest is still far from empty. She shares her home with her husband of 27 years, four
dogs, two cats and a new 55 gallon fish tank.
Lisa has a love for adventure; she loves white water rafting, hang gliding and skydiving.

Sarah Grove
Sarah comes to us with six years experience as a veterinary technician. While she enjoys working with all animals, her passion is cats. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Providence College and enjoys animal emergency care because she feels the can really make a difference helping those with life threatening emergencies.
