You will be given a complete itemization of all services rendered. If you have questions about anything on your invoice, please do not hesitate to ask. Our receptionist or technician will go over the discharge instructions with you in detail so you will know exactly what treatments your pet requires at home. Please make sure all of your questions are answered before you leave, but if additional questions come up, please don’t hesitate to call.
If your pet requires further care when we close, we will discharge your pet to you and have you transport him/her to your primary care veterinarian for further treatment. We will fax a copy of all medical records to your veterinarian. If radiographs (x-rays) were taken of your pet, we will provide them to you to give to your veterinarian. Our veterinarian will then call your primary care veterinarian to answer any questions they may have about your pet’s condition. This direct contact between the veterinarians will help to ensure continuity of care for your pet.
